From which countries did foreigners visit Uzbekistan in 2020?

In January-December 2020, the number of foreign citizens who visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes amounted to 1.5 million. Compared to the same period in 2019, this indicator decreased by 77.7%.

In 2020, 2 million citizens of Uzbekistan left the country for tourism purposes, which is 76.3% lower than in 2019.

The largest flow of foreigners arriving in Uzbekistan was noted from the following countries:

Kyrgyz Republic – 508 thousand people (33.8% of the total number of all arrivals),

Kazakhstan – 424.1 thousand people (28.2%),

Tajikistan – 337.5 thousand people (22.4%),

the Russian Federation – 81.6 thousand people (5.4%),

Turkmenistan – 60.6 thousand people (4%),

Azerbaijan – 2.2 thousand people (0.1%),

the Republic of Belarus – 1.6 thousand people (0.1%).
